A list of definitions for the BM endpoint

plantId

The Enact PlantId (or the BSAD id if it is a BSAD action)

isBid

Whether the action is a bid/offer

isAccepted

Whether it was an accepted bid/offer

volume

Accepted bids/offers: The volume accepted (MW)
Table bids/offers: The volume remaining (MW)

offerPrice

The price of the offer (£/MWh)

bidPrice

The price of the bid (£/MWh)

soFlag

Whether it is SO flagged - actions potentially accepted for reasons other than energy balancing e.g. being impacted by a transmission constraint

storFlag

Whether Elexon has shown it as STOR flagged

cadlFlag

Whether it is CADL flagged - actions with durations of 10 minutes or less

cost

(£) Table bids/offers - the cost that National Grid would incur in total from accepting the bid/offer, due to minimum zero/non-zero time obligations. Accepted bids/offers - this will be 0

bidOnTableTypeEnum

Type of action e.g. Turn On, Turn Down

fuelType

Fuel type of the BM unit

sel

The minimum stable export operating level

mzt

The minimum time that a BM unit which has been exporting must operate at zero (or be importing) before returning to exporting (and vice versa)

ndb

The time between issuing a BOA and the time when the BM unit begins to deliver its bid volume

ndo

The time between issuing a BOA and the time when the BM unit begins to deliver its offer volume

ndz

The time required for a BM unit to start importing/exporting energy from a 0 MW PN level as a result of a BOA

mnzt

The minimum time that a BM unit can operate at a non-zero level as a result of a BOA

coords

The coordinates of the BM unit (this will be 0,0 if we do not have the information)

bodId

The id for the bid-offer pair, where there may be up to five pairs above the FPN and up to five pairs below the FPN, so this number could be -5 to 5

additionalBsadData

This will be populated for actions we get from DISBSAD

  • plantId: The Enact plantId for the BSAD
  • partyName: The party name the BSAD is submitted under
  • fuelType: The fuel type of the asset
